Pure Pueraria is our range of raw Pueraria mirifica ingredients: a powder extract and a liquid extract, made for manufacturers and formulators who create their own products. They are ingredients and both come from Pueraria mirifica grown in northern Thailand.
Origin
Why Thai Pueraria mirifica
Pueraria mirifica, also called White Kwao Krua, is a root native to Thailand, and it has a long history of traditional use there. Its roots contain plant compounds called phytoestrogens, which is why it interests formulators.
Quality in this category is not the same everywhere. The plant looks like its relatives, such as kudzu, and the number of active compounds can differ between cultivars and between harvest seasons.
For that reason, we chose to control the raw material ourselves.
Our raw material comes from one selected line of White Kwao Krua. It was chosen over many years for its high isoflavone content, and it is grown on our own plantation using organic farming methods. Growing our own material means we do not depend on whichever root is available on the market that season.

Our root is over 5 years of age at harvest, considered fully mature with a high potency of active ingredients.
